Really good result by the team, Slavia, were coming in with some pretty hard tackles at times hopefully the players have not picked up any serious knocks, It was good to see some of the younger players getting game time it will help them come on in their game experience, We defended well and another clean sheet the team are playing well together we just need to win some silverware to keep them happy and keep the team together.

Slavia came out hard the first 20 minutes and then predictably got overwhelmed.

I hatehatehate the UEFA handball rule - deflections off a player's body should never be a penalty. But that is the way it's always called in these games.

I've complimented the refereeing we've received in Europe most games recently but it's been when there's a Swiss or a Slovakian as ref ... the pool of referees in Azerbaijan is perhaps not that deep.

Merino is hilarious.

Saka is cause for concern at this point. Another weak performance, falling over so easily.
