Need to see something that shows your trying to progress the ball a different way that city may not be prepared for.... If we come in limp then Arteta has to be asked much harder questions.

I actually don't think its this, I think we just have an extraordinary amount of whiners in the fanbase and the constant negativity is so mentally draining that even when we're winning the highs aren't as high and the lows feel 100 times lower. Its super cowardly as well, these complainers know that if we do win the league all of their moaning will be forgotten in the euphoria, and if we lose the title they get to say told you so - a sort of Pascal's Wager but for football success.

Yeah the football could be better but it could also be a LOT worse, we've literally got the most points in the entire league so there's literally 19 teams who have had a worse EPL season than us so far, you'd never believe that reading the pages here though. We've also extended our lead over City in the last 3 games from 5 points to 6 points, another thing you'd never believe reading the pages here.

I'm pretty confident we make back to back CL semi-finals (something Wenger never achieved) and if we win Arteta also breaks Wenger's single season win record, stuff like that is pretty cool but when pointed out the anti-Arteta cult just call you names or make insinuations about your sexuality.

Completely bizarre time to be an Arsenal fan, honestly.
Your optimism is inspiring , if, perhaps a little misplaced .

I wouldn't even consider myself particularly glass half full, there's plenty of legitimate reasons to be upset with this team and I want MUCH more from them but we have to have a proportionate response to setbacks.
Exactly this. It's like Talladega Nights in here sometimes with this Ricky Bobby-ass "if you're not first you're last" sh*t.

Gotta recoup for this one cause if there's one thing you dont want from this team, its them ruminating on that loss. They've been good about getting back to winning ways after a loss, but this is now a losing streak and everyone involved looks mentally shell shocked. Time to ****ing get over it. You played like absolute ****, can't dwell on it anymore.

We must get back up because there's still a ****ing chance. You got one leg in the UCL semi final, and you can put a nail in the coffin on City this weekend, and even failing that, there's still games left to go. The league will likely go right down to the wire tbh.

Get our main guys ready. I cant stress this enough. Get the main ****ing boys ready. This is now do or die, no "oh Im a little sore" "oh i have a little niggle." **** that. Shoot them up with painkillers and lets ****ing go because this is the part of the season thats do or die. All that other **** we've done no longer matters. I dont give a **** if we lose it because we're "experimenting" and putting on players that haven't played in a while. I'd rather lose it with ****ing Saka and Ødegaard and Eze and Timber and Gabi and Rice and Dowman than lose it with ****ing Madueke.

We don’t really have anyone else fit who could have played there.

Ode/Eze/Merino are all injured.
yeah agree, the timing is bad so we have no option other than havertz in last 4 games

Remember when people mocked those of us who said Arteta should’ve rotated in October/November?

Timber? Rice? He had to rotate Saka because he can’t play three games a week anymore.
Come on we can see why Rice and Timber have to play most games you don't trust thier replacements in league games but he rested them in some cup games and also Rice had like two weeks off Timber and Saka too so not sure what the hell is going on. I won't be surprised Rice make it for tomorrow but Ode is getting ridiculous Cala is also every time he play like load of games he'll miss some period.

It feel like everything going against us since that cup final. Not only performance dropped but injures increased i honestly not sure we'll qualify tomorrow if Rice and Timber doesn't make it the midfield gonna get bypassed so easy Zubi is awful and he carrying an injury too since international break.

White going to play his 4th game in 10 days also and we know he'll probably get injured sooner or later.

We’d still have a chance if we could just field mostly the same 11 like City can, but without Saka and Timber for the run in we’re definitely cooked
