UEFA Champions League Quarter-Final 2nd Legs (April 13 & 14)

Real are the masters of European cup competition. Absolutely know how to get the job done from this point onwards.

Got a feeling PSG will win it though. Mbappe up against his employers next season.

Have the oil clubs ever played each other in the CL before?

You look at Wengers best teams facing a peak Messi etc, we had no luck either. The drop in quality now would give us a fighting chance. No investment at the right time, the right manager at the toughest time with no money and then money spent on dross with a rookie at the wheel. How did we get it so wrong?

Football keeps moving on. A lot of clubs would have similar grievances.

We were unlucky, but the time we should have won it was 2006. We had the right mix of players to win the competition overall, but Henry had a shocker in the final.

City and Real are favourites imo. Real has much more experience in this competition, but Chelsea also knows to defend better than Liverpool under Tuchel.

City and PSG both knew how to **** up in big games, but doubt that PSG can defend that great to stop City scoring few goals. There's no big secrets between Poch and Pep tbf.

City will face the same problem against PSG as Bayern did without Lewa and Gnabry. City won't be able to score enough to Offset Mbappe and Neymar. They'll control the game, but in the end lose it, I feel.

Had a bet going with two mates: Bellingham score and Dortmund win while Liverpool and Real go into penalties. 15 Euros to 22.000 Euros. Bellingham ****ing scores and Dortmund go into halftime leading. And that was actually the good game, always felt there was something in it for Dortmund, but it was again Man City scraping through with a pen and a random shot by Foden under no pressure. But Liverpool stunk the place out, my god. Couldn't score if their childrens' lives depended on it. Was a joke bet anyway, but my god Liverpool were awful.

If they can do it against Bayern, they can do it against City. Don't think enough was made of how PSG dismantled Bayern over 2 legs. People still think they are the same team they were under Tuchel, they have a serious manager now.

They were more than lucky in first leg against Bayern.Should finish 6-3 or something like that.Doubt City would miss all those chances if PSG play like that.

Yesterday was different story, but Bayern missed some key players as well to create more.

Spot on, they aren't beautiful but collectively the offence is unmatched. As long as their transition is good they will break City on the counter attack.

Hope it won't be any of PSG or City to win this. Got a little feeling Tuchel and Chelsea might win it, similarly to Di Matteo back then. Never watch PSG and think they're an absolute top team bar the individual talent they have. Guardiola is a serious CL bottler and if it weren't for Emre Can's idiocy who knows, they might've gone out tonight already. Real? Probably the most convincing of the bunch, and that's exactly where I get the feeling Chelsea might get away with it.

Don't see any problem that Bayern had in first leg. They were just unlucky and not clinical.

Wenger's Arsenal would never have spent big because he didn't believe in it. He hated dealing with influential agents, refused to pay their fees, and preferred to recruit talent on a show string. He was a fiscal conservative. He took pride in the fact that Arsenal maintained Top 4 without over spending.

There's a huge chance PSG may not even win their domestic league. I'll admit I haven't watched them this season but it doesn't seem right they could win the CL when they've struggled by their standards in the league. City/Real final I'll go for.

So is City. They'll camp put in the opposition box but won't finish.

While not having a Lewandowski. City will lose against PSG, but Bayern would've won with Lewa. Shame that tosser got injured the one time you rely on him to prevent the plastic clubs from winning the CL.

PSG did not dismantle Bayern. Bayern controlled both legs, they simply didn't finish their chances. Had Lew or Gnabry been available, Bayern would have sailed through, but we've had this discussion earlier.

PSG played without Marquinhos, Florenzi, Bernat, Kurzawa, Verratti and even Icardi.

They would have a much better defense with these players too and especially Verratti is their key midfielder.

What a boring game in Liverpool! Real didn't have to do a lot to survive the whole game against a toothless Real Madrid. City qualify as well.

2-1 City

True. But Bayern bulldozed them in that first leg. This isn't so much meant to dismiss PSG, but rather point out how blank Bayern are without Lewa or even Gnabry and Goretzka.

True. But it's the fact we spent big on dross. Sad. Let's talk about proper non PL teams
