You don’t have to have possession to control the game. We had all the chances. We scored early and their limited chances mostly came from exploiting calafiori. We still had better chances with 35% possession (5 shots on target vs 2). Anything can happen of course and they do have a good team. But they obviously don’t have the individuals that Real does, so that isn’t much of a trump card. The teams from October aren’t much different. Still I don’t want to get my hopes up. But we already proved we can shut them out and score goals.

We bullied them defensively. That’s why I have hope the group of MLS, Timber, Merino, Rice can be dominant.

Bar the fact their best player missed that game though injury, and their 2nd best player hadn't even been bought from Napoli yet... what's so different mate!?
