Those results today should keep Arsenal on their toes…can’t allow an early goal.
Yeah, an early goal to Madrid and things could get nasty. the lads need to stay strong, defend and hit them on the counter.

We shouldn't think about them at all. The scenario most likely to cause us to suffer an adverse result is introducing needless external concerns. The reality is that we're going to play against 11 Real Madrid players tomorrow. We're not playing against their history. Di Stefano and Zidane aren't going to be out there. Nothing that happened today can affect what goes on between our 11 vs their 11 tomorrow unless we let it do so mentally.

We're playing the same team we demolished at home a week ago and we should go into the game with the mindset that we'll do it again the same way we did the first time which is through a disciplined and fearless performance with clarity of purpose.

We're gonna need a few things tomorrow, we need to weather the storm potentially if Real come out all guns blazing, we need to have a reliable transition threat and we need to be able to just keep the ball and pass it around for large periods. We know Vini and Mbappe aren't great pressers, lets utilise this by playing it around them and finding the free men as a result of their unwillingness and inability to press properly. It'll be more difficult to keep the ball than at the Emirates but even just having a few spells will frustrate them and hopefully kill the crowd a bit.

We can't allow the game to become stretched but we also cannot encourage them to attack us constantly.

Based on the PR this lot are going to come for us hard tomorrow night. They'll be out the blocks pressing us hard so we will have to weather the storm.

Ideal scenario is hit on the counter and score early. If we concede early it's gonna be a long long night but we can still score so wouldn't worry too much.

If we manage to score a goal, we'll be safe because I really can't see them scoring 4+ against us.

Could be the game for Martinelli to shine because there should be lots of counter attacking opportunities.

Get Merino to drop in again like he did, let those wingers just fly on the break.

Monster game for Saks and Nelli. And also MLS will play a huge part, needs to stop being so rash.

We will undoubtedly concede tomorrow night but tbh, if we can't score against a team that's gonna come out all guns blazing with a defense line in our half then we don't deserve to go through.
Think we'll sit deeper than our normal game, but what I don't want is us playing like we did against City away last season. We need to embrace our transition game, and it has to be top notch on the night, none of that 11 in the box, Saka and Martinelli on the halfway line ready for counters.

The two home teams tonight put in great performances and almost turned it around. Real will take confidence from that. Getting bad feeling about this game

Arsenal Quotes

When you start supporting a football club, you don’t support it because of the trophies, or a player, or history, you support it because you found yourself somewhere there; found a place where you belong.
