1st leg every 50/50 was given for them. I hope refs be fair I seriously had enough of this season in PL in CL they at least fair but with real Madrid you'll never know but if we go out better be not because of refs I don't want to lose my s**t

Unfortunately, this is always a big concern when playing Barca or Real in the CL. Lots of dodgy calls go their way. Hope we can hold Real tomorrow and PSG beat Barca. Real probably more favored than Barca, but man that RVP red was the stuff of nightmares. Can’t give these refs any chances.

i finally found my login information after almost 4 years or so ffs. was never a super active poster but always enjoyed talking about football and other random sh*t on here.

anyways, big game tonight. let's defend well and not concede early. play with big balls (pause), don't get intimidated by the occasion and the atmosphere. play good possesion football like in the first game, create chances and frustrate those cheating cvnts. they've been chatting a lot of sh*t the last few days, would love to beat them again at their own place this time. 1-3 for the arsenal.

Along with inter I think we have the best side defensively and tactically. Hopefully Bayern can knock inter out and we can go through.

Only reason Madrid, Barca and PSG have got this far is because they have a plethora of moments players. Both Barca and PSG showed last night they're very open 24/7.

The first 20 minutes could be decisive. Madrid will come at us full force and they'll be looking to get a quick goal back. The better we keep our defense organized, the harder it will be for Madrid. Of course, even if they do score an early goal, it's even more important that we don't get rattled but stick to our own game plan.

I think the only way we can blow this is we get a sending off and concede a goal early. Have to be careful about that, no rash tackles or shenanigans.

Even if that happens I'd still back us to advance, though. We gave City next to nothing at the Etihad with 10 men earlier in the season.

Why is Madrid and fans acting like a 2nd tier club by closing the roof, hyping up remontada, fans playing loud music at hotels whole night etc. Their behavior is the same as clubs like Getafe to not spray the pitch and leaving holes open on the pitch to prevent opponent play football.

It is a disgrace how they are acting. Like they are entitled to win with zero respect towards Arsenal. Real Madrid acting like they have class, but it is just a spoiled kid who cry when things does not goes their way.

My only fear is that refs will give a penalty to fouls that they normally will ignore. MLS need to avoid fouling in the box and avoid a red card. MLS is my only concern.

Not worried at all; we've got this in the bag. They may have the stars, but we're the better team. As long as we don't concede early or pick up a red card and let the occasion get to us, we'll go through.

When was the last time we capitulated defensively and conceded 3+ goals in match? We'd probably have to go back several seasons when we were starting Holding for an injured Saliba. Even without big Gab, we're strong enough defensively not to blow this lead no matter the opposition, and I trust Arteta to set the team up appropriately based on our defensive performances this season.

Also, there's no way Madrid should be keeping a clean sheet with that makeshift back line. Would be very disappointing if we're unable to unlock their defense even with our depleted attack. Should get chances on the counter, or perhaps be able to work out another moment of set piece magic.

Because they don't trust their team to actually produce on the field.

Arsenal Quotes

In a football match anything can happen, the players, 90 minutes, fantastic moves, an element of luck, talent, courage, and touch of magic and, for those who are watching these men play, the search for excitement, for a memory, for a lesson in life.
