I'm not going to be too harsh on the style of play or result. That being said, for the first time in ages (during a game) I literally fell asleep from min 48 until the Noni Pen.

I fell asleep too at the end of the first half so I missed Leverkussens' goal and just caught the last 20 mins.

I hope I'm not on the list. Wife is pissed at me, getting 2 teeth pulled tomorrow and I have a nasty hemorrhoid on the outer crack of my a**.

Listen last year we had beaten PSV 1-7, yet nobody remembers that game. The only 2 games that we remembered were against Real and PSG for the obvious reasons.

If we win against Everton and Leverkusen at home, we would have done an excellent job and nobody will remember the game at Leverkusen.

The football was bad, mainly because our attack is sh*t. However, I believe that Arteta is aiming for that mid april to go as far as possible with "ugly" football.

I think that on his mind, he has the following in mind:

Win at minimal effort against Leverkusen and Everton. Be prepared to die against City in the final before the internatiol break. Win a first trophy that will boost the morale of the players and start to the last sprint of the year with high intensity.

The football is bad mainly because our attack is so predictable and easy to defend against. You only need to close out our wingers and that's about it.

If you believe that Mik somehow intentionally had us playing with handbreak on then I have a bridge to sell you. Btw, your theory does not make much sense. The best outcome in terms of preparation for the final against Man City, would've been if we had killed the game yesterday - and then going easy in the 2nd leg.

Leverkusen were missing several key players but were still a better side yesterday.

yes, though clearly it was much harder to shut out Madueke than Saka so maybe it's personnel being very out of form

Played without any tempo, not having they look tired excuse either.

We played with 10 changes last night, starting team was fresh and a draw was about right we did nothing in the attacking third apart from hitting the bar. They sat in and we got punished for starting the 2nd half do badly.

We cant we play like Bodo Glimt. Fresh, quick passing and goals.
Yup. People still trying to blame our personnel in attack rather than the brand of football we play.

Man for man we are far better than Bodo but they play the most simple direct attacking football that is easy on the eye.

It's all about how you coach the team to play

Saka was absolutely shocking today. He is a big part of the problem. Slow, predictable, and sluggish.
This always happens when players return from long-term injuries. Physically they’re fine, but mentally they’re still holding back.

And PL referees didn’t help at all. They let opponents kick him all game, which stalled his progress and probably ruined his confidence. However, he is still 24 and enough time for him to get back his form and regain his confidence. We just need to give him time.

Ajax tried to sign the coach, but could not match his salary at Bodo Glimt. According to some sources, he gets a % of the outcoming transfer. Plus he is already in the late 50 and I doubt he is willing to take the risk to coach for another club.

Those attributes tend to correlate with having the tag of being the highest paid player at Arsenal.

Let’s be go honest we have been **** for a while now. The results have picked up in the last 3 weeks due to the defence becoming strong again but we rarely play well.

Interesting to see how far we can get playing the way we are currently.

Because Bodo would be relegated if they were in the PL…
If their home ground is as it is, they will easily be in top 6.

A team who convincingly won away to Inter, Atleti and thrashed Man City cannot be taken lightly
