I still remember that CL run when we went to final. And that real Madrid side had Ronaldo Beckham Raul Zidane etc.. .

Those Real teams were never as good as the names suggested, which is actually similar to this incarnation of their team.

That's because Saka is a more effective defender so when he presses or runs back, he's more like than his peers to win the ball. Hence, why his numbers are much higher than most.

I watched two CL games this week and what I saw was players like Rodrygo and Kvaradona both sprinting back into recovery positions and working hard to win tackles.

Saka is not being given unicorn instructions but people continue to act like he's a baby boo.(Ironically, then people complain about the media infantalising him when his fanbases does the same.)

People saying attackers shouldn't defend is like 15 years back, people used to say fullbacks shouldn't attack.
