This trophy shouldn’t even count as a Champions League. One leg fixtures and all the other stuff that comes with it, not to mention the Germany and French teams played way less games than the others.

Atlanta could have eliminated them. But that kinda shows what I'm getting at. Firstly that having superior players in every position isn't a guarantee and secondly that Atlanta could have won precisely because they played on PSG's weakness (letting PSG have the ball, commit loads of players forward then hitting them on the counter). But however strong Bayern look, if they start playing to PSG's strenghts (leaving loads of space to run into while having players who can pick a pass and freak speedsters like Mbappe) then the final will be far from the foregone conclusion you seem to think.
You're forgetting that Bayern has speedy players too, who can track back and catch the likes of Neymar and Mbappe.

I'm not saying it's impossible for them to concede, but they look like they can score almost whenever they want and the likes of Messi and Suarez (apart from that well taken goal), couldn't hurt them regularly throughout the game.

PSG's lack of efficiency in front of goal will be punished, just as Lyon was tonight, because Bayern at 100% is in on a different level than PSG at 100% and they weren't at that level in this game, but still managed to win 3-0.

Dude, you are writing the same thing over and over, the idea that the Bayern defense can lock PSG attack is simply ludicrous. It is going to be a great game between the two best teams. The way you are dismissing a team with Mbappe, Neymar and ADM upfront is pretty bizarre. I am sure Flick himself will not feel like that.

Have to feel sorry for Lewa. Man has the best season of his career and would probably have won the ballon d'or in a year that the award won't be given out.
Huge bummer. Think he's solidly injected himself into the 'Best Non-Messi/Ronaldo of the Era' discussion (with Suarez, etc.), though.

It's really annoying for someone who appreciates historical records. Lewa should've gone down in the records as the recipient this season. In the future some will recall him having been the most rightful candidate, but it's not the same as him actually getting it.

Lewa is one of the most complete strikers.
Seems to have gotten better with age but then again 30 is not like it was 20 years ago,Modern players have better diets and fitness plans and just overal healthy lifestyles which makes careers lingers. Look a Usain bolt was winning medals into his 30

Bayern cost so little because they are devious and got players like Arsenal and Pulis reject Gnabry on the cheap through the back door.
That we sold Gnabry for peanuts still grates no end. How we let him slip through is just such an indictment of the club hierarchy at the time.

It also shows that we need to give our youngsters some time and not dismiss them too early.

Agree. I can see PSG win the final. It wasn’t like Lyon didn’t generate chances to start yesterday’s game either and PSG has a lot more attacking quality.

I know he’s lacking fitness tonight but Mbappe isn’t a natural wide player. His passing and dribbling are average at best. He’s just insanely fast and a good finisher. His profile is almost identical to Aubameyang. You’ll see the very best of him when Neymar leaves and he plays centrally like he did at Monaco.
Mbappe is technically gifted, he’s just so rapid and sharp that he doesn’t showcase that side of his game. He just ruthlessly exploits space.

He basically uses his football IQ and pace to play kick and run football at the highest level.
