UEFA Champions League Semi-Finals

Merino upfront, Partey in midfield could be a game changer. It'll be down to us controlling the midfield and our attack to step up. Unfortunately our LW continues to be a farce, 2 years running now.
I'm more worried about the fatigue than who gonna play we didn't look good physically after 60 minutes yesterday and we have to play majority of the players in weekend because we have like 14 first team players fit

The weekend game is a tough question. Do we play our best team to try and give everyone some confidence with a win or do we rest everyone and hope some rest prevails. Id prefer to do the latter as we're unlikely to drop out of top5 and for all intents and purposes there's no difference between finishing 2nd and 5th as both get CL. Arteta will likely prefer the former though, perhaps even to test some tactics with the starters.

This CL semis round is a throwback to the mid-noughties before Pepification took place. It's less about systems and more about big personalities announcing themselves with game-breaking qualities. People attribute this to attacking players, but defensive players are just as likely to break games open with a big tackle or last ditch block. No one here would say Sergio Ramos or David Luiz were not big personalities because they were defenders. People laugh at our set piece proficiency but there is nothing braver than putting your head on a ball knowing you could get kicked or punched. Heading is 90% bravery and 10% skill, and the players who are proficient at scoring headers have big personalities.

Big Personalities for each club

Barca:
Yamal
Raphina
Lewandowski
Pedri
Balde
Cubarsi

Inter:
Thuram
Martinez
Barella
Dumfries
Hakan

PSG:
Dembele
Doue
Kvaradonna
Vitinha
Mendes
Hakimi
Neves

Arsenal:
Rice
Saka
MLS
Calafiori
Partey
Gabriel
Saliba
Nwaneri

Arteta need to get Nwaneri on the pitch against PSG in some capacity. He's been involved in all of our big scoring displays in both the league and CL. He has game-breaking qualities, despite his meek demeanour outside of football.

We don't have other choices just to play majority of our team apart from white Zinchenko and Ethan so we'll likely only able to rest Saka Trossard/Martinelli Timber and MLS. Sterling shouldn't play it's make us play with 10 men.

I looked at the stats and we have only scored one more goal from set pieces than joint second/third teams. We are also near the top from set piece goals conceded. Smoke and mirrors.
We been found out on set pieces. Also Gabriel and Havertz are our two best headerers or whatever you call people who like to head the ball for fun

A while back I suggested that I’d make the hypothetical trade of Yamal for both Saka and Nwaneri. I got ridiculed.

Well, I’m willing to double, triple and quadruple down on that take. He’s just that good. Injuries permitting the Messi vs Ronaldo debate will be comfortably put to bed by this lad in due time. There won’t even be any questions about it.

Yesterday gave us valuable information but PSG didn't learn anything about us because we will be playing completely differently. I back us

YES!! I loved that one. We will be stronger in the next game. I doubt PSG is.

Arsenal Quotes

When I arrive at the gates of Heaven the Good Lord will ask "What did you do in your life?"
I will respond "I tried to win football matches."
He will say: "Are you certain that's all?"
"Well, that's the story of my life. It is not easy to win football matches, you know."
