UEFA Champions League Semi-Finals

Or he might not? Bet Yamal does a Messi and never gets injured.
I hope so, but odds that he stays clear of injuries after he started playing a lot at 16 are very slim.

It's just not possible to escape them with the current volume of games being played every 3 days and he's still growing, so if he's not given enough rest he's going to break down at some point.

Look at Ansu Fati and Pedri, just from his own team. They both started young and had bad injuries to deal with.

Messi barely played until he was nineteen.

Father Time is undefeated and when these young guys rack up the minutes crazy young they’ll often fall off a cliff way younger.

Example Rooney and Cesc.

Well no, he was stabbed in a car park not even a year ago so that's not quite true. I hope he travels with security now and still talks his sh*t. 😂
Completely forgot about that. The road life ain't worth it. He's in his forties, a father of a millionaire and still needs to look over his shoulder for the poor decisions he made as a youngster. I hope he isn't too prideful to walk with security.

Rooney had a poor diet and was a drinker. Cesc did relatively well considering the minutes he racked up as a teenager. However, he made the wrong choice by sticking at Chelsea after the first big injury. He should've gone to Italy.

Both legs of the Inter vs. Barca tie, particularly the second, were a breath of fresh air in an era where players are coached to recycle possession and fear making mistakes. Credit to Barca for their trust and faith in homegrown talent! Their come back from two goals down in both games was truly impressive. Yamal is like a true throwback footballer - he's a maverick.

Neither team feared losing, and both deserved to be in the final. Kudos to Inter for their tenacity and grit - especially after going 2-3 down with a few minutes left. They've arguably been the most consistent team in the Champions League this season, and that was a real show of balls.

Maybe. They're completely different body types though. Messi's a smaller player with that low center of gravity which has always made is hard for defenders to get a hold of him.
Yamal is more the lanky type like Neymar. I think he will get fouled way more often than Messi.

Cesc was done by January 2015 really. He looked like he was chasing shadows when Sp**s ripped them apart.

He used the last of his top class ability up before that to get them the title but the falling off after that was brutal. Was barely a footnote in Conte’s title win.

Neymar another where he’d wracked up crazy minutes for Santos as a kid but was done by the time that 2022 World Cup ended.

Thought the ref was great last night, on a completely different level than refs in the Prem
He wasn't that great when he blew the final whistle with an Inter player clean through on goal. Apart from that, he did well. Was lucky it didn't cost Inter in the end.

If we do get through, we can only hope Inter play more like this. The way we've defended recently, we'd be embarrassed by Barcelona.

You're right. At that age, his bones haven't finished growing. His career may last a long time, but he could be in a lot of pain by the time he retires.

His (Yamal) bones definitely haven’t finished growing - he’s actually in the middle of a growth spurt.

They’re actually worried coz he’s showing no signs of stopping growing and his playstyle will be very difficult if he gets much taller.

We just have to pray that something like this doesn't happen:

Arsenal Quotes

When I am asked why I stayed at Arsenal so long.. my answer is simple; I never wanted to be anywhere else. I could have earned a lot more elsewhere, but that wouldn't compensate for all the good years at Highbury.
