As much as Özil didn’t play great tonight, can anyone honestly think of a single Arsenal player that had better ball retention, control/passing and creating space? Literally everyone bar him was either unable to keep the ball under pressure or was giving the ball away from poor passing.... yikes!

Anyway, not a huge fan of KFC or Nando's. Chicken, like burgers, usually better from a non-chain place.

**** this result.

We'll still go through, but have to give a really good performance at the Emirates.

BT Sport with all their money, you’d think they could arrange subtitles for Unai.

Not sure many thought we'd be better off. I do feel his importance to us was somewhat overstated though. He's still our best RB, even if I don't rate him.

Bro, people were calling for Lichsteiner to start before a ball had been kicked. All I ever hear is about how he hasn’t progressed and how we should look at replacements.

He’s important to us in both an attacking and defensive sense. We need him :(.

This has been the story all year, but if Özil's not getting at least two goal involvements a game he's called out for being useless.

Why do our players throw their arms up in the air when opposition players go down? It makes up the mind of the referee in an instant. Bunch of nitwits

Not sure what people were expecting, we lost to BATE for christ's sake, rennes were going to turn us over no two ways about it, and with our defending fully expect them to score at the Emirates, game over in the Europa league if you ask me, only viable way for us into the champions league is top four, doesn't matter anyway because we don't deserve to be in that competition.

Keown is right though, he’d be better with an interpreter because he can’t get his points across. And he’s not improving.
Alright Nigel, calm down. The journalists who go to his briefings every week say his English has improved significantly since his introduction press conference.

Agree. Taking him off was a mistake. You could even say the same for Iwobi. Emery got the subs totally wrong tonight.

Should have just shut the game down at 2-1. There's still that bit of naivety when we're in certain situations. We can blame the manager for that but we can blame the captain as well. He should be the one to tell the guys to calm down and just see it out.

Özil at 10 And Emery Out
Sarr would be a perfect Welbeck replacement imo. Looks like he has WC potential, just needs to improve on his decision making (still only 21).
