The old adage ‘if it’s too good to be true it probably is’ always comes back to bite our club it seems.

Signings guys like Mustafi and Xhaka with very little fuss was one example.

Another was believing that the one guy who didn’t win Ligue1 with PSG was a good manager. Also kind of failed to realise that to keep winning the Europa like he did at Sevilla meant that he kept qualifying for and then failing to navigate the CL group stages.

Sigh. Guy has been a bum for a while.

Didn’t win any away game with Sevilla not long ago, and got dumped by his Russian club too.

In our last three league games only centre backs have scored.

Have to go back to the Tottenham game when someone other than a defender or Auba scored a goal from open play.

If Freddie is untested, just bring Rafa from China and let him stabilise this bunch.

Other options being mentioned: Allegri, Mourinho (hope not), Viera will not commit on a short term.

He has nothing more to do here, looks like to me he's doing whatever he can to save his own career after his stint here instead of trying to fix our problems, sack him and let someone else at the club take over for the rest of the season, he's done nothing.

Pfffffff.... Wild speculation and all this comes with 'perfect timing'. The press take advantage of the negative energy around the club and have conveniently written the story to please you lot and feed ur negative feelings towards the manager. Take all that crap with a pinch of salt.
