• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

National teams really don’t care about protecting players. You can see it every time they get angry at clubs for trying to look after their own players by refusing to release them. Look at the Spanish NT, they absolutely ran Pedri into the ground. He had to play every match for Barcelona, the national team and the Olympic team. Both sides kept blaming each other for overplaying him, but neither actually protected him.

Koeman is the perfect example of the hypocrisy. When he was Barça coach, he played Pedri for 90 minutes every single game, then begged the Spain coach to rest him, which they refused. Now that Koeman is the Dutch NT coach, he’s complaining that clubs aren’t resting players and aren’t looking after their health. Every coach only cares about their own agenda.

Tuchel is the same. He’ll always pick his strongest XI if it means getting the result he wants. Players’ long-term health comes second every time.
i don't mind they pick the best players available when it's important games but when you already qualified you really shouldn't over use your starters because you might lose them when the actual competition comes these 2 weeks off might do wonders for some players.

Can't rate Nico O'Reilly based on that haircut alone.

What even is that. Short, back and Khabib's hat...? Nah man. Sort it out.

Bellingham just dominates the whatever game he plays in, good or bad

Used to think it was the free role but nah, it’s just his mentality.
Was absolutely atrocious in the euros I thought. Has that Ronaldo diva mentality where he thinks he's rhe main character but he's nowhere near the player. Bar that overhead he scored all he did was ghost or give the ball away and fall over and moan at his team mates.
Looked equally **** and poison in the CL against liverpool the other week and against us last season. He's Pogba with the odd big goal.

Foden will never ever be Gazza, England just have to come to terms with that soon.

It's good, but not top quality really. Frenkie is the only one who's world class, but his ankles are worse than @Rasmi 's takes on here.

Our defense is very good, but in attack we are awful.
I have a bet on the Dutch tonight. Let’s see if they turn up or do their usual thing and turn on each other when it gets tough

i think he done quite good job considering he facing so much pressure from media and have to mange bunch of mid players who basics of football they refuse to learn yesterday is first time for years i saw us play some actual football. Iraqi players are hard to manage specially the once who play inside our league they don't care about themselves they live the life of stupid teenager and not pro footballer.
Where do a majority play, domestic league or other parts of middle east? i.e. UAE, qatar, saudi ( prob more difficult these days)

Finland just Iost (0-1) against Malta (!) at home (!) in their last qualification game. The Finns actually had a small chance of taking the 2nd place in the group before the game today. Drippin in the mud.

Arsenal Quotes

Robert Pirès was a fabulous player, world-class, and for a few years, before his injury, he was unquestionably the best left-midfielder in the world by far. He had incredible technique, he was smart, a finisher. He was a killer with a smile, the gentlest man in the world who suddenly drive the ball exactly where it was needed.
