We're a big club. We shouldn't need to depend on a striker signing who could grow into a top player and stay for a decade, imo. We're ready to win now and need a guy who's ready to step in with 3-4 quality seasons while we develop our youth project or have the funds ready for the next signing. We have a supposed stud in Dowman who will need 3-4 years of seasoning at least to be that developing project guy.

Arsenal really need to start operating like a championship caliber club. All of this development crap is fine if you have no expectations but we have them now and need to maintain them. Winning solves a lot of this crap in the media so we have to win something and then maintain standards going forward. We're nearly doing that now with our 2nd place finishes and dismantling of Real Madrid.

True, a lot of our turtling was just down to not having the talent to run much of anything at times. We did create chances even when we were awful so this guy should bury them. Kai can chip in with scuffed shots off his ribs here and there too.

our squad is still also very young specially after MLS and Ethan included in team. we also gone past being developed club we can buy ready made players or still developing.

If you signed Rodrygo, Eze and Noni that’s enough firepower to compensate for Havertz only getting 15 or so goals imo and wait a year.

Worst thing you can do is sign a flop in our position. This club’s success is now tied to Gyokeres for better or for worse.

Reminds me of yesteryear here on AM where 27 was considered the absolute upper limit of player ability and that even a day older meant they should be tossed in the bin.
