Well, we've also played Utd away, Liverpool away on defensive mode, City deep blocking us, and our weaker opponents have basically camped in their own half to limit the amount they lose by. ITs amazing how with Haaland up front, teams still push on to City so much more than they do onto us.

That is what Haram-ball gives you.

Everybody despises it openly, but deep down they love the feeling of winning.

This is perhaps the most agenda post ever against Kai I seen. Taking Gaslit to a new level
I merely pointed out Kai and Gyo is distinctively different type of players.

Kai is good at pressing and hassle the opponents without the ball, Often dropping back. When we have the ball, he would find space instead of standing shoulder to shoulder with CBs.

And I think it is quite known he do not know how to utilize his height when in the box. Thus I feel that Kai might be 1-2 level up this season as he has bulk up and looked more focus.

And I think there are quite a few Kai fanatics here. Got to see the whole picture objectively

I think by the end of this next run of games we’ll know a lot more about Gyok. We’ll know even more by the halfway mark of the season, then the end of the season, with the final judgement on him probably coming by the end of his second full season.

What’s interesting is that Kai had a very bad 1st half of his first season, an excellent 2nd half of his first season, then followed it up an inconclusive 2nd season where some were convinced he was reverting to his poor Chelsea form while others thought he was being run into the ground.

The Kai journey shows how pointless it is to make definitive statements on these players and he’s someone who had already spent 3 seasons in England.

The way he gets refereed is a bit baffling

Arteta knows that his system doesn’t favour strikers or attacking players. It’s why he demands other traits like pressing and passing movements into half spaces from them it’s also why he looks for other intangibles in the players he chooses up front. He is well aware that it doesn’t suit certain types of players. I’m surprised that he openly alluded to this. Shows confidence.

I simply refuse to believe you can have eyes and have this opinion. My apologies if you're blind of course.
The "Kai plays soft" agenda has been there since the beginning despite all the evidence to the contrary.

They just look at his calm and unassuming demeanor and think he'll be easy-going and physically avoidant but he's probably the most combative player on the team except for Gabriel. Very annoying player for defenders.

When he has space, which is rare, he looks a threat. If you watch him, he’s usually flat footed and standing next to a central defender.

He won’t score much if he is putting himself under pressure and making himself slow to react.

Kai is different in that he is always finding space. He’s not necessarily quick to react, but he is easy to find and play with. He is a tough cover.

The pre-match expectation of him scoring gonna set this thread on fire if he doesn't 😂

I am a very reasonable man though, just will want him sold if he makes me look stupid by not scoring today...so it's not like I am going over the top with anything!

Unfortunately, today’s gonna be another wrestlingmatch between him and the opposition defenders, Calvin Bassey is a very physical defender and he’s going to make sure that he turns this match into a mini wrestling game with Victor Gyokeres. Hopefully the mini wrestling match provides space for the rest of our attackers to score.

Yeah, every time I see Gyokeres he is being wrestled. And the refs don't care 😭

Surely he's got to score today? he'd be warming the bench as soon as Havertz is fit I'd wager if he doesn't pick up

Arsenal Quotes

"Arsenal come streaming forward now in surely what will be their last attack.

A good ball by Dixon, finding Smith for Thomas, charging through the midfield... It's up for grabs now! Thomas! Right at the end!

What an unbelievable climax to the League season"

Brian Moore on the Thomas' winning goal at Anfield in 1989
