We obviously saw the game differently, because I saw PLENTY of transitions killed by us. Martinelli was crap, but I actually think you could defend him on the basis that clearly, Trossard is the choice to start against such an obvious deep block. I am in no way saying Gyok has been good, but I am saying that we do not move the ball forward quick enough in transitions where the block is fragmented.
He has also played in our best performances too. He's not at the level we want, but no point blaming him for others being poor tooIt's not that surprising. The team sucks when he plays. There is a clear pattern
they wanted Sesko but not for 75mI’m convinced now they didn’t really fancy anyone in the CF market and just went for the cheapest guy who’ll be an honest hard worker.
Main focus was the strengthen the squad rather than any one position.
Nunez is the better player by some distance, but a horribly erratic finishe r and a bit of a nutcaseHas he been even worse than nunez? There were comparisons with him. Nunez was missing chances left and right but he used to at least get involved and create some chaos.
Ekitike was the one you know.
I never heard of the player until I saw him at Liverpool. Missed opportunity for sure. How did our scouts miss this one?@jones and @MutableEarth called this during the Sesko hype btw. Can't quote the locked posts, but it's all documented.

Why on earth would you play the ball to the player who is most likely to lose it?Play the ball to him and he's involved. Play balls for him to attack and at least he'll win you corners or cause a bit of disruption. We did neither in the first half and he was anonymous.
He's not performing in the team the way it's set up. We need to see if we can adjust. Otherwise why even but him?
the difference is gyokeres did not missed a lot chance week in week out like havertz did & we also still did not play for his strength, we back to u-shape boring football that make gyokeres look even worst and worstThis forum is turning into RAWK with the gyokeres excuses. Yet the knives were out for every minute thing Havertz done. Shocking stuff honestly.
He is genuinely awful. Have to hold my hands up here and I had a stinker being excited we signed him.
Come on. He had five good game till now and that was against atletico, newcastle, leeds, burnley & olympiacos. Except those game, he was mostly just sh*t.
