He's not the bagsman I thought he would be - touch is terrible and he's much slower than I thought.

Not a great game today but even if he had been good today you know the agenda merchants wouldn't care. We've already seen that in the previous 2 games.

I'd note that the previous two games when he was really good we played a lot more quick and direct. This game we went back to a lot of slow standing and passing it around again.

Come to think of it none of our attackers had a good game today really except maybe Ødegaard before he came off injured.

These are the kind of matches where you expect him to shine or make the difference or improve our game.

It's concerning, but it's hard to get mad at him when the circuit with the guy he has more chemistry with (Trossard) was deliberately interrupted by our manager and his ****e plan of having Calafiori model all around the pitch to try and make the fanbase forget about the terror ball in the background.

I thought Gyokeres would suffer once Ødegaard came off and he did. Gyokeres only works well when someone like Ode is constantly feeding him with throughballs.

Listen if he continues I'll be critical but once Ødegaard went off there was no one to play that killer pass to find him early like Ødegaard does. Everything was speculative and expecting him to be Drogba. It was a fairly poor performance all in all but I'm still not seeing a team that's in sync with how he needs to be fed, Ødegaard aside.

I'll agree if it continues like this and how we try to utilise him then Kai is obviously more useful if that's how we want to continue.

That is probably a bad excuse for his bad performance today. You are going all ways to defend him

Against a side like West Ham today he's not going to be receiving many through balls. That's just the reality in major leagues.

The opposition were happy to sit back and defend deep for the most part even at 2-0.

The opposition's tactics affect the game as well, you can't forget that.

We could have moved the ball a bit quicker at times but we were never going to be slicing them open like Olympiakos.

Giving praise for basically creating the first goal and getting an assist is setting a low bar? Haaland is maybe the only other top level striker who has the physique to pull that move off. But I know you and @Artemis have an agenda to push. Low bar against a bad team.

How does Gyokeres measure up to those standards since his arrival?

Be honest.

Didn't it take absolutely ages for Havertz to properly get going? He was the original charity pen taker in a 4-0 win. It wasn't till he got the winner against Brentford in late Novemeber that he really got going. And that's coming from a rival in the same league.

He runs Arsenal like a dictatorship. No coincidence he will sign last out of all of our big players, guaranteeing the biggest contract. Guys got elite mentality.

First match where he's really been poor IMO. Needed to bury the chance Rice put on a plate for him. International break might come at a good time for him. Hopefully he finds the back of the net for Sweden and comes back refreshed mentally.

He's been average in most games. Good games with Bilbao and Newcastle. This is though stand out poor performance.

The hope of many of him becoming our Lewandowski, Kane or Haaland is fading off rapidly.

At this level when we want to win the title it is simply not good enough
