So looks like a 2-3 weeks one for Gyokeres. Martinelli is already two weeks injured so his must be worse.
Imagine how miserable Sp**s feel. We have our entire front line injured and all recover for the nld.
Gyokeres, Martinelli, Havertz, Madueke, Ødegaard

Well I did say worst case he would be back after international break so seems that's correct.

As long as no one else picks up something serious pretty much everyone is back after the break so I'm not sweating.

I think maybe Arteta has to start rotating a bit more regularly to stop all these little niggles every season. He'll probably never have a full squad to pick from in any game this season because of all the little rotation he bothers to do & sometimes doesn't make subs till around 70 minutes.

Just say we had a full lot to pick from against a team like Wolves, Everton, Forest etc. then a few ones like City, Liverpool (No Liverfail game is easy despite current form) Newcastle etc. Those bottom teams would be perfect races to rotate around. Start Gyokeres then just start him from the bench next game, put Saka on the bench for one of those 1st games too, if Madueke is back, easily start him ahead of Saka. Even a bit of the backline/MF too imo.

The game against Sunderland got much difficult without Gyokeres. It's really insane all the attacking players we got and we putting merino as cf already.

To keep momentum you need best players available we can't play without cf for long periods

No problem, mate. Merino is our goalscorer since Havertz got injured. Even Tross can play as a false 9 with Eze on the wing and Merino Rice Zubi midfield. We should be beating teams like Sunderland if we want to win the league.

Merino is box cf and not that good with his all round game we really gonna miss Gyokeres so our solution to put Trossard CF and Eze LW against Sunderland

Damn. So unfortunate after gaining some momentum in the Burnley game.

Need Merino to do a job for a few games by the sound of it.

Yes the system is demanding but not for a top athlete playing it for 3 months. 😅

Was rotated in the game before this one as well.

And. Lazy Isak who wouldnt give in Arteta demands is injured. WHAT? Easier system, relaxed Slut coaching him, barely played. Wait. Other players get injured not playing for Arteta and his haram system. Wow.

Except back after the break is best case so no, you were actually far from correct.

The problem is from the start of the season, bar the left wing position, we haven't really had the option to rotate in the forward areas.

Havertz got injured first game, Saka got injured then Madueke got injured as Saka was coming back, Ødegaard has been injured every time he plays.

I'm sure we'd have seen slightly more rotation / earlier subs if these guys were fit and available to him. If imagine he would have taken Saka off on Saturday for Madueke had he had that option.

I made a prediction before we knew anything, and there’s is nothing indicating back after the break is the best case here. Seems more they're saying that's what's likeliest. Might be earlier than that.

But why do you care? You don't even think we have a chance to win the league anyways against an "unstoppable" City and Liverpool teams.

Arsenal Quotes

I think without doubt that Bergkamp is the most talented player to have played for Arsenal in the past 30 years, for as long as I can remember
