That’s what I want from him. One of the great things with Haaland is he doesn’t compromise how he plays for Pep. If I only get 2 touches all game so be it. You know where to find me, put the ball there

I would hate to for him constantly come deep and run everywhere and after the match you see he was everywhere except in the box

He laid the ball off for Zubi the only time he got it in the box and Zubi could and should have done a bit better.

Unfortunately we're going to have to survive a few games with Havertz up top as he gets fit and up to speed and then will be the growing pains of the team learning to play with an actual striker.

It's unfortunate that the schedule is so brutal to start with because we're really going to have to tread water and hope it clicks in time for one of those Cityesque runs in the business end of the season. Ideally, we'd have had him in earlier but Sporting were obviously being unreasonable so it can't really be helped.

I mean Twitter is filled with trolls and bots. The rival fans also know it's easy to trigger Arsenal supporters lol. We should all know how the Internet and social media works by now.

I don't even think he got 15 mins with how stop start the end of the game was, but with the only two touches he got he controlled the ball well and laid it off nicely for Zubimendi, maybe could have had an assist. Think if he'd started he'd have had a lot more luck with the game being far more open in the first half but obviously he's barely trained with us so no surprise he got so little time. As for the stuff from rivals, this is what they do, i distinctly remember the nonsense around Haaland after his first game for City in the community shield, so much stupidity from people and then he went on to destroy the league so this is par for the course.

Agree. He needs more time to gel with the team and learn their tendencies. Too early to judge him.

Does he wear an XL kit? I was thinking about it when he was paraded in the stadium after signing but figured that it looked more "street" to wear oversized.
