Nice penalty and good attitude, but he is basically just a bully. At the top level you need better movement, technical ability and hold up play. Think he will do well at a midtable pl club, or top 5 in another league where he can dominate more pyshically.

We need to sell him. Used him in alvarez deal if possible but the club need a real number 9 next season

Credit to him though for getting 20 goals this season. It’s a hell of an achievement considering how poor he is.

I think this season has proved that you could plug anyone up top for this team and they get 15 goals minimum.

People are overreacting here based on yesterday's match. We know that our playing style this season means we wont create that many chances. And he scored 20 goals in his first season, in a season where our primary chance creators like Saka and Ode were injured or out of form for the most period. He does have his weaknesses but he can definitely do much better next season.

I thought he struggled quite badly yesterday. I expected a little bit more against tired legs.

The technical issues are always going to be there against top opposition I feel.

Great pen in the shootout though and I had zero doubt he'd bury it.

He had a bad game but I'm not going to be flip flopping.

He has had a great 2026. Yesterday he was another part of an overall pretty poor attack but for a few moments.

He's for sure upgradeable, but has more than played his part in our title win. He could barely make the ball stick yesterday, but equally, many of our better players couldn't seem to complete a pass.

Next season he will put up bigger numbers and better performances.

Anyway Gyokeres vastly overperformed his xG which is encouraging. However apparently he bulked up so he could compete with PL defenders and that's why he's slower this season. Not sure that was a great tactic.

Our goal was a bit of a fluke let's be honest. Most times when you press, it doesn't create a through ball for your striker

There is difference. Gyokeres came on later in the game. He was supposed to be game changer especially in extra time together with eze. The club spent 130mil on both of them ffs.

Zubi and madueke were phenomenal.

Eze martinelli Gyokeres were poor

I had zero expectation for martinelli so i was not surprised .

However eze and Gyokeres were supposed to be the difference makers. The club signed them to be starters in games like this.
