Let’s not repeat this mistake of tanking a guy’s value again. Please Mikel/Arsenal.

Let’s think half full.

Gyokeres is not good at many aspects of football, this is true. But, he’s one of our best finishers.

Last season he had absolutely no space. I can’t recall more than a handful of open shots. With Bruno, he will have open space. Bruno will see his runs, and direct his runs because Bruno is so progressive.

Look out for this combination this season.

Anyone thinking it has something to do with his fitness?

He looked slow and heavy last season, he's built like a tank but gets brushed aside easily by defenders.

I wonder if there is an imbalance in him which the club wants to work on and he isnt ready for the season yet.

Alternatively, Arteta just thinks hes dogshit..

Suppose we will find out soon.

Remember when Gabriel missed the opening games after being linked to a move away? Might be something like that.

Bro he cant do nothing with those runs. Just watch him all of last season. He was found multiple times, and 9/10 physically or technically he isn't good enough to make anything of it.

He stands out so much in this team and our technical quality isn't even that high.

We need to be honest he lucked out ever being at a club that played at this level. He is a low tier PL striker.

I was just thinking about this but remembered it was to fit Thomas Partey in at RB so he could grow into a different role and got PTSD

Into the final third, not deep runs, he’s not fast enough.

Still prefer this guy as a footballer to Eze. Much would rather have Gyok/Kai than Alvarez who was going to always be a ticking time bomb (as was Vinicius).

He had a poor pre season. But let's not get it twisted in his first season here he's hit double figures the first player since Auba to do so. And that was where we were playing off scraps.

His shots to goal ratios is one of the best. With tzolis and Bruno around in the team now I expect our chance creation to go up a level.

He's a better CF than Kai. A CF scores goal. Everything else is secondary.

Arsenal Quotes

I want a fan to wake up in the morning and say, “Arsenal are playing today, I’m going to have a good time.” That guy starts his day off by thinking that something good is going to happen to him. And to do that, big clubs like Arsenal have to have the ambition to play spectacularly. Of shared happiness.
