He had a poor pre season. But let's not get it twisted in his first season here he's hit double figures the first player since Auba to do so. And that was where we were playing off scraps.

His shots to goal ratios is one of the best. With tzolis and Bruno around in the team now I expect our chance creation to go up a level.

He's a better CF than Kai. A CF scores goal. Everything else is secondary.

Awaiting a similar fate I reckon. Just a matter of time.

We all know he's not the most technically adept player, but he scored double digits on our way to our first title in 22 years.

We don't have a glut of attacking players as it is, so alienating one of the few who are effective can only damage our chances of retaining the title.

He has a cf movement, you cant coach that. Something Kai doesn't have. We need Bruno, Tzolis, Eze and even Myles to feed him. We dont have the pace, so us our pure cf correctly.

sure, and he's a CF not a striker. strikers are measured purely on goal scoring. centre-forwards are measured on hold up play and creating space and getting involved in the build up and making runs and tracking back etc. not that gyok is particularly good at most of those things, but let's not pretend that goal scoring is all he's being measured on.

I saw somewhere that he was kept on the bench in order to get the 9 shirt when Jesus finally left. Surely it’s about being registered to a game rather than actually entering the field?

Hope he gets some action last 20 minutes or so of the match now the window has closed.

One thing we were doing well last season is sub out the starting CF after they have run themselves into the ground. The striker in our system has to work extremely hard so it didn't make sense to keep Havertz on for 90+ minutes when he run out of gas while we had fresh legs on the bench.

We're judging off a 15 minute cameo after very little football.

But yeah he was awful. That miscontrol down the left made me laugh out load. Sunday league stuff...and that's probably being harsh on Sunday league players tbh.

The only thing that's going to be more frustrating than watching this turkey for another year is having to hear some fans claim the problem is just that "we don't play to his strengths" as if it's possible to play to the strengths of a guy who can't control a ball, can't dribble, can’t head, can't run, and can't pass. We desperately need Kai to stay fit until January at least when the market opens back up.
