I've just been browsing the 100 top sporting moments on the BBC website and MICKEY THOMAS'S winning goal is up for nomination. So come on peeps go and vote!

"Michael Thomas wins league title for Arsenal
The climax to the 1988/89 title race is the most dramatic to date. Arsenal needed to win by two clear goals to become champions. Liverpool only had to avoid a 2-0 defeat at Anfield to clinch it. With the game in injury time, and Arsenal leading just 1-0, it looked like Liverpool had done enough. But they hadn’t reckoned on Michael Thomas. As the commentator Brian Moore screamed, "It's up for grabs now", Thomas poked the ball beyond goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar and Anfield was stunned into silence."

We always knew him as Michael at the time. The name Mickey Thomas always conjured up an image of a lank, greasy haired, balding, Welsh, counterfeiting, no-mark who got stabbed in the arse, by a jealous husband, while on the job.

Oh, and I have voted for St. Michael.

didnt really need to reply to it!

? how did sp*rs 61 double end on the list. None of manures. None of ours?

Our 2002 double: record runs in the premiership breaking near 100 year old previous unbeaten run etc etc etc

I guess its a matter of expectation. We are expected to take home trophies.........sp*rs end up crying when they fail to win the worthless cup. Its just a matter of what is standard to you. sad really

Yeah but calling us 'Totts' doesn't unsult us, it just makes you sound bent.

And the reason it's in there, is because we were the first, like we were the first British team to win a European trophy.

You being on an Arsenal forum makes you look bent but I understand you want to feel the buzz amongst Arsenal fans after our 5-1 win at the San Siro.
