So is Almunia. One of his greatest strengths in my opinion. I just don't see this happening. Wenger has shown his belief in Almunia, and so far this season, and a lot of last season, he has been repaid for that. He isn't the best out there, but realistically I don't think there is anyone available who we could get and who would be a big enough improvement over Almunia to justify the expense in bringing him in. And I certainly don't think it's this guy. I very much doubt we would spend that money to bring in someone to sit on the bench after seeing what Fabianski may be capable of too.GoonerGurjit said:He's a superb shot stopper.
Arsenal sent a scout to watch Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey keep a clean sheet during his side's 1-0 victory at Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.
But the Molineux board are likely to resist any move for the 21-year-old, or any of their best players, when the January window opens.
The £6million-rated Wales international has four years left on his contract and has also been monitored by Tottenham.
But Arsenal are thought to be long-term admirers after regularly sending representatives to Wolves matches last season.
A better long-term option than Fabianski?GoonerGurjit said:I think Hennessey is going to be a truly World class goalkeeper in a couple of years.
