Game recognizes game!

Don’t get me wrong, he’s a big coup for you and he’ll get some good stats but West Ham is probably his level, I doubt he’d get a move to a big club, similar to Bowen etc.

Nah he's a CL quality player. Not like CL heavyweight teams but he's easily good enough for teams that regular play in it. He also just turned 24 like yesterday so there's plenty of room to get better.

He's a better player than Bowen. Bowen is probably like a fringe starter at a CL level club at best, more likely to start for a EL team etc.

You know he was supposed to join Arsenal right? I can't find the article now but he turned down Brighton thinking he was coming here and he ended up stalling all summer. Was linked to Dortmund aswell.

Allegedly though, could be gas. The timings of Havertz and Rice might disprove that rumour as well.

That doesn’t make a difference though, I trust Ajax fans opinions on him. I’m not sure we were as interested as made out either, similar to Šeško.

I prefer Nelson.

Fair enough. As far as utility players who don't quite have a position I'd say he is pretty good. I had concerns about his injury record but Arteta could have definitely used him.

I don't know what Ajax fans you are referring to but there was outrage when he was sold

As I said though, here I think he’d look average but at West Ham he’s probably one of their better players.

What that makes him I’m not sure.

I saw a lot of Ajax fans fine with him leaving.

I think the only reason Arsenal didn't push the boat out for him is because he wasn't from the prem. For me he's easily better than Havertz as a whole and pretty much anybody else we tried left 8 last season.

I would take him over certain man aswell but they will remain redacted as I don't want problems today.

Anyone would have been better than Havertz at 8, but Kudus doesn’t make the team when Kai went CF. Good player to bring on tho.

This signing always had flop written all over it.

Like Scamacca you just know when a striker's not gonna do well in the PL, being linked with West Ham and no one better is always a pretty good clue tbf.

Scamacca was highly rated tbf, I think West Ham dented his reputation.

Yeah but you just sort of knew it wasn't gonna work out, I've no doubt in Scamacca's quality but it doesn't always translate.
Antonio explained why it didn’t work. Said Moyes wanted a striker who runs the channels and that’s not Scamacca. They bought some good strikers and don’t play to their strength

Arsenal Quotes

Robert Pirès was a fabulous player, world-class, and for a few years, before his injury, he was unquestionably the best left-midfielder in the world by far. He had incredible technique, he was smart, a finisher. He was a killer with a smile, the gentlest man in the world who suddenly drive the ball exactly where it was needed.
