Edu hired the manager once they were done with the * owners' picks. Not sure how else a DoF would affect the team one way or another.

He ran off Nuno in the first place. The last straw was a dispute between Edu and Nuno and then it spiraled out of control. They were still in relegation form until Edu was gone. He had an impact on transfer strategy, of course he affected the team. Also not a great look that his daughter is in a relationship with Luiz who he loaned in and then gave back to Villa in the span of a few months.

From what I gathered. Marinakis fell out with Nuno before the season finished. Edu was officially appointed in July (07/07/25), and the owner was then seen with Postecoglou (10/07/25).

The managerial appointments after that could be from anyone. I'd even say the Dyche appointment made a lot of sense until it didn't.

What we do definitely know is that he pushed to sign Zinchenko and that didn't end well.

It probably was a foul but that isn't the point. Those type of goals have been allowed all seaosn. Once the ref doesn't give the foul on the pitch it should not be over turned. Shocking decision from VAR but you knew it was happening from the moment the goal went in.

It's a foul on Raya, I don't doubt it but this Arsenal side do basically whatever they want from set pieces and get away with it, there isn't a consistent view of what is a foul and what isn't from refs or VAR.

Raya was firmly held from behind by Todibo, so he could not jump. Pablo was only addition with the same or maybe even smaller impact...Referee has chosen Number 19...but he could successfully call number 25...
