Great performance! RVP proving what a vital cog he can be in our attack.

Feel so much better about everything having watched that performance.
Memories of the last couple of matches almost erased.
We were quite special at times in that game.

    MOTM Robin van Persie!
    Absolute joy to watch him.
Must keep him fit at all costs.

    Great from Nasri today too.

Well we've done what we needed to do in style, hope Man U drop those 3 points tomorrow

Szczesny.........6......great save first half, made his body big. Distribution still dodgy though. Not tested much.

Eboue.........6.......first half he was AWOL. Second half he was much better, helped relieve pressure numerous times with some good forward runs.
Djourou.......5.....was due a bad game. Dwelled on the ball too often.
Koscielny.........7.5......had a really good game I thought. Won alot of headers and made some timely interceptions on Cole.
    Clichy.........7....solid game.

Song..........7....one poor error second half when he was caught on the ball but worked hard. Covered Eboue first half, shielded the ball well and kept his position well as we killed the game off.
Cesc........7.....first half was good, tailed off alot second half. Great pass to put Theo in and pretty much controlled the game first half. Tiredness hit second half.
Jack........8....MOTM....first half I wouldn't have considered him for MOTM but most of the players dipped considerably second half but Jack shone. Tracked back, intelligent passing helped us control the game and nearly scored. Still tends to overplay on the edge of the box but he's getting there.

Theo........6....maybe harsh but I thought his general play was very average. Made decisive contributions all the same...goal, assist and won the pen but he breaks down so many attacks aswell.
    RVP.........8......improving all the time.
Nasri.........7....he's a top player now. Like Cesc he tailed off second half but still retained the ball well throughout. On another day he scores one or two and gets an assist.

I just love those people who give Djourou higher marking than
Koscielny today. He was a disaster waiting to happen.

Why all the poor ratings for Sczcesney?

Not one person in this thread has done that.

    Edit: Just one.

Sczcesney had hardly anything to do today other than that first half save. 6 is spot on.

So when called upon, he made a sublime save. Other than that, he clearly marshalled his area well and maintained concentration levels all of that in front of a defence that looked a shambles and still kept a clean sheet. I'd say that warrants a seven at a minimum.

Thought Clichy had a great game bar some woeful crosses.

Love Theo for being willing to shoot from outside of the box too....even with his left!

Song back to his best too.
