What games do you play right now?

Sound design? Idk. Doesn't feel as crunchy and unique. It added a real weight to your actions.

Also, **** nojima and nomura btw. They jumped the shark way too hard.
Sorry that I can't speak english, but what do you mean about that? What did Nojima and Nomura do?

Putting this in spoilers.

They ruined probably the single most memorable/defining moment in gaming history up to that point in time. The fact that Aerith is going to be alive through all of this and not just flat out dead like in the original game is just ridiculous and Nojima/Nomura are the main culprits.

If you go to Strangers of Paradise, for example, it has really good gameplay. But the story? Same goes for Kingdom Hearts. It's a ****ing joke and, it's what they've been doing as a team for the past few cycles. Mind you, my context comes from a time where Squaresoft (pre-Enix merger) was on a roll.

They're a shadow of the company and the quality of games they've put forth has been overall bad. Some of the people who made it what it is have all left and there's no one there anymore to reign some of that BS Nojima/Nomura been pushing.

Ah that. Well then I disagree. I make you a spoiler as well:

Remake/Rebirth is not really a remake. It's a sequel.

I've already reached my fill of this game, tbh. The amount of cheese enemies are able to pull off is infuriating. Having players limited to a stamina system that is ignored by the rest of the world is just insane. Lol

I've had Bloodborne in my PS library for years. Never installed it. I used to enjoy the Ninja Gaiden revamp back in the day and have tried Nioh/Nioh 2 but I honestly do not have the patience. I figured it would be the same with Sekiro. Elden Ring helps at least as I can just slice up enemies in the open world and explore when I can't progress the story.
Sekiro is more of a rhythm game instead of an action game.
It's probably still not your cup of tea but it's not the same with Nioh or other Soulslike game.

Shadow of Erdtree is crushing me :(

Gotta git gud
keep seeing that one girl on social media killing all the new bosses with ONE hand (on controller) - cant even imagine. i 100%ed elden ring back then and used every little exploit the game offered but i will never touch a from soft game again thus not getting the expansion. just not worth the rage. great game tho 10/10 xD

Tbf, I'm kinda half assing it as I'm just super busy with work and life (two young kids) so by the time I get any free time to play I'm just exhausted.

Haven't played ER yet, but liked Sekiro the most out of all the Souls games. It's really hard to get back to the clumsy combat of DS/BB after Sekiro.

Once the parrying clicks, there's no game like Sekiro. It's so satisfying and the "clang,clang,..." is zen like

Have you played Armored Core 6? It's Mechwarrior on steroids. Especially when using melee weapons.

Mikiri counter might be the most satisfying move in video games, period.
I haven't played AC6 yet, but I'll definitely will.

The Amiga 500 was an absolute monster when it came out....We laboured away on our C64s while aspiring to the Amiga. In many ways the computer that made modern computer gaming.

As a PC user I was actually jealous of Amiga kids and their huge catalogue of games. But the Amiga 1200 died because it couldn't run Wolfstein 3d let alone Doom

Can we pivot back to the Amiga talk, please?

Can we stop the Monkey Islanding around please? You're getting my Zooled

Back on topic, I think Nketieh would do better by going back to sensible soccer and by being a big fish in James Pond. Right now he's just another lemming.

I remember playing this on my Amiga 500 😂

Great times 😂

Arsenal Quotes

I was receiving offers from many other clubs and declining them all, even the most tempting ones. Juventus, Real Madrid, PSG contacted me, Bayern, France, England...I am happy to have been able to say no to more glory, more money, and to have been guided only by the idea of loyally serving the club. I had knitted myself a soul in Red and White.
