When should Arsène Wenger have left ??

Arsène Wenger is a true Arsenal legend but let's be real, he stayed longer than he should have.. Many people give various times when he should've left. Some say should've left after 2014 FA Cup final, some say 2011 League Cup final, Some say after Man United 8-2, I even remember Piers Morgan first calling him out to be sacked during 2008/09 after we lost 3-0 to Man City, even a small portion said he should've gone after the 2006 UCL final which I think was ridiculous/ harsh to say.. What do you think ? When should he have gone exactly ?

Would have much preferred Klopp.

There were various times Arsène could have left, ironically when he did leave in 2018, he probably could have stayed for a year or two longer.
Yeah Klopp.. I’ve always said the thing we need most is not a crazy transfer spree but to Arteta to be a Kloppesque appointment

He was too proud to leave before his eventual exit, but that's all in the past. The problem was his replacement, a man unworthy of the job, but that's also in the past.

Time moves in one direction, and Arteta looks like the true successor so all's well that ends well.

Should have left 8 years ago.

Then Pep was available.

Or in 2015 when Klopp was available, but that wasn't possible because in that season we were in a title challenge. It would have been incredibly stupid to sack your manager in the middle of a title challenge.

I would say most Arsenal fans were still pro Wenger at that time but after losing the title to Leicester that season, he lost a lot of credibility/love from the supporters..

Would say summer 2011.Changed a lot of things to worse since that year and we were never a top team from that season.
Agreed that summer was an embarrassment.. We sold Nasri, Fabregas and Clichy all in ONE summer.. Disgraceful. Overall we sold Nasri, Fabregas and RVP 3 of our best players in 2 summers

Yeah and we didn't find right solutions for those players.Sold Nasri and Fabregas when season already started and it was same story with RVP.From there on,we were just side that will fight for top 4 and not title, despite buying some quality like Özil,Sanchez,Mertesaker etc.

And who did we sign as Nasris replacement ?? The one and only GERVINHO

If you wanted a top successor and a happy ending then 2014 because he could’ve retired with a cup win and we could have competed for Klopp potentially although can see him passing on managing us.

Realistically though 2019, losing both him and Gazidis in six months meant there was a power vacuum which Raul and eventually Kia have now filled.

Give Wenger another year with Sven taking care of transfers and who knows? The club had started to make changes behind the scene by the time Wenger left but in the end I feel we pivoted too hard with the influential figures leaving immediately.

I think we’d be in better shape behind the scenes if maybe the same on the pitch. Would’ve like to have seen how him and Sven would handle the Ramsey, Özil and Koscielny situations.

Arsène hated Sven as he took his transfer power away, remember when Sven signed and Arsène said... “We know the players. We know. It’s not that we discover, we know every single player in Europe before Sven arrived. Sometimes, in a little club in Germany, he might know somebody we might ignore.” ...Arsène killed him with that

Plus Sven wasn't really that good for us, not unless you wanted every past it Dortmund player.

Yeah he was overrated imo, Decided to sign Sokratis when Soyoncu was available only scouted Guendouzi who imo is overhyped
