Which player(s) do you think will benefit most playing under a new manager?

Kolasinac is an interesting shout actually.. Personally I don't rate him at all and think he's a dud, wonder what Emery makes of him.. Lots of people seem to think he was unfairly treated though, so we'll see.

I love Nacho but feel its a good season for him to share the burden and honestly think Kolasinac can become a dominant LB in this league. There was a visible drop in his energy and enthusiasm after it became obvious Wenger didnt trust him.

Seeing some of Wengers favourites have to put the work in to prove themselves to the new manager will be refreshing to see.

Holding.

I expect the whole team shape to get better not only certain individuals which would be crucial. The days of free thinking on the pitch are long gone (that is if you're not Messi or Iniesta). Mostly because all the quality teams are as fit and drilled as they've ever been so it's an even field and it's tactical awareness and preparation which is decisive. We've suffered from lack of that for many years and there simply has to be a progress in almost every area of the pitch.

Defence - I would expect our defenders to be less exposed, therefore making less mistakes (so you can call it as an improvement). Full backs should take a leap forward. Less free kick and corners conceded.

Midfield - we'll be definitely in for DMC this summer and central midfield area should be much more compact and balanced. Interestingly, there's probably going to be a major overhaul there as it's possible that not everyone would buy into Emery's philosophy (Ramsey?). How will Xhaka fit in, that's a serious question.

Attack - I expect quicker movement on and off the ball and more attacks coming from the wings. Maybe we will even re-invent the ability to cross, forgotten long time ago. Possession would be lower but I don't think it's a problem, we have a team that surely can thrive on the counter-attack.

Hahahaha I bet you're one of those guys that says ' this isn't part of my job description' when asked to perform a task.

Reality is these days jobs are overlapping
Why are you harassing Hydro? No means no mate.

Has to be Xhaka for me. From day 1 he showed that he has all the tools to be a 10 years cornerstone for our club but it has been two years with ups and downs for him. I hope emery can give him a role that suits him.
Oddly enough I agree in spite of my criticisms of Xhaka I think him and ALL the midfield will be hugely benefited by Emery (feels good to have my predictive text save that name)

Özil lives rent-free in my head
Hopeful all the youngsters will get a go.
Cant see Emery being complacent about defending so I think all the defenders will benefit from a real system and hoping to see man marking instructions at corners etc as well as we have been punished hugely because of this for as long as I can remember. Highly doubt he will be playing wing backs pushed suicidely forward like we have been either. Emery is a proper genuine tactician and suspect he will adapt positions and instructions to players dependent on who we are playing, which will be a breath of fresh air and maybe eliminate some of the needless mistakes/uncertainty in our game.
Whether a proper dm will come in is a different matter and a huge question mark for me. Alternatively that position/role could be filled by a player we already have and has broken into the first team this year.
I think AMN deserves a go as meant to be his position and has other ingredients to his game as well, which he has shown playing wing back. So in one player he could make the specialist DM situation redundant or his own as he could well do it all imo.
The only word of caution would be that under Wenger he wouldnt sign player for fear of "killing" a player, either the guy is good enough now or he isnt, that is a golden rule for me. Hopefully under clear instructions that have been lacking for years ALL our players will be good enough. Thats my hope.
So Im not sure we need to sign a DM if this guy steps up and from what Ive seen Im hoping Ainsley gets given a proper chance, thats my two pence.

I think it's going to be Ramsey. He's been a bit "meh" for me despite his amazing record this season. I think tactically, and discipline wise defensively, Emery's arrival will be a big, big boost for him. When to go forward, when to go back, little things, but he could improve massively.

Nothing Wrong With Me
Hard to pick one as I think most will benefit. I'll stick my neck out and say if Mustafi stays, he will benefit hugely, this is based on where he is now and where I think he can be. Of the younger players I'll go Nelson & AMN, although if we bring in Seri his mins will be effected. I also think one very important group will benefit, us, the fans. "I'd rather win 5-4 than 1-0!" Well so would I Unai!
