Yeah,he was thinking that Jack and Ramsey will become better over some time.We also had fit Cazorla and Özil was there one season.Still,it painful to watch Fabregas in Chelsea's shirt and he should come back to us.

Maybe Wenger was disappointed how Cesc left us in 2011 and all that **** and when Barca didn't want him,he wanted to come back to Arsenal.Wenger didn't want to make easy way for him

In the Cesc/ RVP/ Hleb/Nasri/ Rosicky period we played some very entertaining football but we were trophy less for many years. Since we have signed Özil we haven't played anywhere near as entertaining but we have won 3 FA cups & 3 community shields in 4 years.

We are playing in a relatively weaker era than Cesc/RVP/Hleb/Nasri/etc. In the period where we have been winning the FA Cup our traditional rivals (United, Chelsea, Liverpool) have been going through their own re-organisational problems and we failed to take advantage in the PL, in fact, we are regressing.

Should have bought him for £24M (bargain by the bonkers prices nowadays) and left him to rot on the bench rather than hand the title to Chelsea.

I don't get Adebayor's point, in the 3 full seasons he was with us it was who United won the league all 3 times with a midfield pairing of Scholes and Carrick, hardly the most powerful midfield in the world. While Rosicky was never really a CM for us and was never really in direct competition with Essien and Ballack. Also our record vs Chelsea was pretty fair during those few seasons. 2 draws, 2 wins and 2 losses in the league games. In 07-08 we performed way better than we should have done all things considered while guys like Gilberto, Flamini, Gallas, Sagna and Toure were hardly weak either.

As well who was stronger than Adebayour at CF in the league ? No one ,and he bullied all defenders , he was probably stronger than Vieira . He was stronger than probably the whole of Barcelona put together too.
