I like seeing Arsenal players star for their countries, sue me 🤷‍♂️

Makes the summer tournaments even more amazing!
Me too, but at this point especially Saliba after his back injury, hell no.

If he keeps this trajectory with Arsenal, starting all the games, he will be given that spot in due time.

IMO white can't see what's happening behind him so maybe didn't want to get close and get beaten by a trick (like how it happened in the 2nd half), Saliba can see what's in front of him but still kept following what White did on both sides. White should have definitely tried to shown him outside though which was his fault. Saliba moving further left maybe would have obstructed Ramsdale but no defender thinks about that while shutting down a shot. If he moved and even obstructed Rams, it wouldn't have even mattered as he most likely would have blocked the shot anyway.

Nah you’ve got it wrong man. Saliba, like the rest of the world, expected Ben White to show him inside. So Saliba went inside to cover.

BW initially started to show him inside, as he bloody well should, and then panicked or sth I got no idea.

Something about Rashford just puts the fear of God into Ben. This isn’t the first time…

Nah, Deschamps is a freak like Southgate really...it will be Konate and Upame-diarrhoea at CB for France sadly.

Just gotta pray for that Nkietah of the bench dagger for England v France this summer 🙏

Well tbh most managers don't just ditch their starting players who got to WC final year before without them making some mistakes.

@Batman you seen this...

...what the **** could he have even been talking about, maybe he was referencing his brief spell at KFC...

...as getting his order right, would be the only time he "got" Saliba in anyway :lol:

Yeah I heard it. It was Stephen Warnock so I'm sure you can understand the stupidity of it now.

It’s quiet in here.
Both he and Gabriel did well cutting out crosses in the first half but I gave the plaudits to Gabriel at half time. I thought Saliba slightly edged the second half.
Top stuff to have them both performing like that.

He's the only player in our squad where I have to pinch myself that he plays for us - in the same way with Henry and Vieira who were clearly the best players in the world in their position. Have no doubt Willo will become the best CB in the world.
