He's helped so much by his great ability to recover but his passing was awful today.
His passing was normal for a CB under pressure with very few options in front of him, but we are used to him having Pirlo like performances so I do understand your frustration, even if I don't agree with you.

For me, he is amazing when players in front of him want the ball, which wasnt the thing, especially second half

Noticed it first half as well tbf. A couple of simple passes were wayward. As I said his recovery abilities can dig him out though.

0 blame on Gabriel, Saliba and Raya today. The midfield was open and the pressure on these 2 CB's was immense.

They did very well with this kind of Emery-esque midfield today. Proud of them, only ones who scored more than a 5/10.

Clueless again. Saliba did well defensively but was sloppy on the ball. White was decent but nothing else. Where was he for their first goal?

Do you watch games with your guide dog?

Many others disagree. Hence why Saliba is leading the MOTM poll by some distance and other people also voted for White (third highest amount of votes).

Failed the test away in Europe.

Deschamps knows.

Not an active defender like Konate/Upa. Deschamps and even all time great defender Desailly stated the best partnership for France is Konate/Upa

NT coaches are absolutely the worst you will find in football, you have a good example right here in England where the guy insists on Maguire and he knows it all.

Can't believe you guys are still falling for that

Saliba is an excellent defender. The best in our squad, and well on his way to becoming one of the best in the world.

But he did not have a good game. The goal was his fault. I’m not sure how people don’t get that? When the striker is between the 2 center backs, the one at the front (Gabriel) covers the near post as he can’t see the player, and the one at the back tracks him because he can (should be able to) see the player.

Big Willy took his eyes off him. It’s as simple as that. There was no one running to the back post that he had to shield.

As @MaraDon said it’s “ok” for him to not have a flawless game. He’s still a great player.
