Yeah, this isnt surprising.

Saliba, Saka, Ødegaard are players who wont stay at the club if we continue to fall short. This season has to be successful to some degree, if we want to hold on to Saliba and the others.

If Saliba does go however, we need to get north of 100m for him.

I can' believe someone would be open to playing for the most famous and successful football team on the planet, and a team were also alot of his mates from the French team are.

While I do agree silverware undoubtedly helps our cause in player retention, there remains the very real and not unlikely possibility where Saliba is interested in going to Madrid regardless.

In any case, if he is to go I agree that it should be for nothing less than a blockbuster fee. How many years are left on his contract?

Where is Saka going to go? He'll never play for another club in England so who is coming in for him? Probably not Barca or Madrid so where would he go?

As far as Saliba having interest in going to Madrid, every player on earth except maybe Barca and Atletico fanboys is going to be interested in Madrid. Between our present struggles as a club and Militao's knee problems, this is just opportunistic 2+2 reporting rather than something tangible having happened between Saliba and Madrid IMO.

Why would he never play for another English club? Unless we do a Gerrard on him and gangsters threaten him he will most likely play for other English clubs

Because he's a Hale End kid with a deep love for Arsenal. This is his club. You think he's going to suit up for Chelsea or United? City? Liverpool? I can't see it.

Real Madrid is the top. He could win CL and the league here but the next step would still be Real Madrid.

Have more faith we keep Ode and Saka.

Arsenal Quotes

There is no chance of Sol ever leaving for Arsenal. He is a Spurs fan and there is not a hope in hell of him playing in an Arsenal shirt.
