If he doesn't sign a new deal by the summer of 2026, he will go the club wouldn't want to let a world class player nearing peak years go for free. Guehi at Palace has a year left in the summer, Newcastle, Tottenham and Chelsea all have had bids around the 70m mark knocked back. Very good CB but not Saliba level.

Yeah this is why I think this is inevitable. Saliba is already getting endless praise in the media, the consensus is he's a top 3 CB in the world, he's young for his position etc.

It was always going to happen imo they want to refresh the backline TAA deal already seem pretty advanced and Saliba they will first see if Saliba want to join and our asking price real Madrid have ton of money but they careful when spending. Going to be few factors need to be in real Madrid favor to put 100M+ plus on player

Good thing for our defense is stable Timber Calafiori and White all capable replacements and quality players. Of course Arteta will have excuse to spend more on defenders.

Saliba is the best of worlds, young and already world class. They also have three of his NT teammates in Mbappe, Tchouameni, and Camavinga.

Saliba's move to Real is probably a matter when rather than if, unfortunately. We haven't done ourselves any favors this season in terms of our ability to keep him for a few years more.
