I think that what they'll do Saliba will won't spend all his career here to be lie to he'll need to have some escape route in case they fail to keep thier promise he still young so he won't mind spend another 2-3 more years here

This is what I was thinking. When you look at their CB signings over the years, they don’t really invest the sort of money our club would demand for him in those positions. Generally it’s low cost fees.

The only ones I can think of would be Militao (€50m) and prior to that it was Pepe then Ramos. If Saliba was an attacker then that would be a different story.

Yeah we’re 2nd, without Saliba and Gabriel we’d probably be fighting it out for 5th with Chelsea and Forest.

Yep our issues are not defensively we probably when everyone fit have best defense in Europe or at least top 3. The problem is scoring and when fix that it'll make our defense even more relaxed
