William Saliba (Out)

With madrids defensive problems ( performance and injuries ) they were always going to have serious interest in him. The question is our asking price and if they’re willing to pay it?! I doubt he stays here long, even if we win the league.
Plus Rudiger talking about him felt like Madrid trying to get in his head already.
Who we target as his replacement is the biggest question - can’t see a RCB that even comes close to Saliba.

Another window that consists of chasing a CB might break me.

CBS I think both Saliba and Kiwior leaves in the summer. I don’t mind as long as we break even, but I think the signings will cost a lot more

When Madrid is calling and we are not winning titles you almost know whats gonna happen.

Yeah agreed.

Saliba unfortunately is a battle we must prepare for.

Madrid will be looking at Ødegaard as the successor to Modric as well I feel. They do have Arda Guler yes, but dont rule that return for Ødegaard out.

Recent reports suggest that they see Florian Wirtz as the successor to Modrić.
They might bring him together with Xabi Alonso and Jonathan Tah.

I just hope we can keep the team together because i think we are close to having a proper team who can challenge on all fronts we just need a proper striker and a little bit more quality in depth upfront only time will tell.

Thinks he's better than Havertz.

Genuinely think he’s a replaceable player, I wouldn’t even mind Ben White at CB again.

You can play it cool, but you are aware that if we lose any combination of the Saka/Ødegaard/Saliba trio this player cycle is done and we're starting from scratch?

The remainder of the squad is mostly overpriced lumberjacks.

Agreed, this is a proper team now, or at least close to it.

I do think we need to do something substantial this season though, because unfortunately as well as we’ve done it will be all seen as a failure.

It could start to unravel if we do not deliver.

If the interest is there and player is keen, we gotta be open to losing him. We could make good out of it if we extract a big fee and spend it wisely.

£120m. Spend that on 2 good players. You prefer one elite player of course but what can you do.

Yeah, I mean if the trio don't deliver, then they're probably not as good as we think they are.

I love Saka and he's our best player, but Martinelli who has been getting dog sharted on all season has the exact same number of league goals as him.

Saliba is part of the defence which has turned to mud.

Ødegaard who has admittedly only played 4 league games, still has only 1 goal contribution.

I'm not digging them out, btw, before anyone decides to go all defensive on man.

I can tell you before this season ends that they are not. However, it’s a fantastic base to build from and we’ve made a meal of it.

I can’t see how it does but it probably all works out.

League is very weak
When you don’t win anything, top players will leave.

Luckily we only have one great player, so there won’t be anymore exits anytime soon.

Saliba belongs at Real, he’s that good. We just have to suck this one up.

Another trash Alexis Bernard exclusive. I'll start getting worried when Marca are pumping out Saliba propaganda every week.

Swap for Mbappe plus 50m. Get Arsène back to be his surrogate father and get his head straight again.
