• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

That would be quite good

I use this website for updates: https://www.premierinjuries.com/injury-table.php

Noni, Odëgaard and Havertz out for another month? 😭

Tottenham has the most injuries with 9. We have 8 (will be 6 tomorrow when Rice and Cala are back)

City have 3. Liverpool is racking them up with 6
What do you mean another month ? Didn't all reliable journalists and physio accounts confirm all of Madueke , Havertz and Odegaars will return after the november international break

It's almost a month until our first game after the November break.

The next phase of our project needs to be a deep dive into our fitness department and injury prevention and rehab methods ffs. It has gotten stupid the amount of injuries we get.

There is a lot of factors you can and cannot control. I am sure they are doing their best in preparing their players, looking after their metrics, stats or whatever info they are gathering.
But sometimes you cannot predict Ødegaard falling twice on his shoulder or extending his leg to stop a counter and injure his mcl.
Some players are more injury prone than others as well.

I am being nitpicky here but I would like to see Saliba be a bit more risky in possession. I've noticed that teams are happy for our CBs to have the ball and pass it between each other - they are not interested in pressing. When this happens, Saliba should be carrying the ball further into the middle of the pitch and force the opposition to engage which will inevitably create an opening for either Rice or Eze. I think we're a bit too comfortable passing between the CBs at times.

He used to do this, feel like he used to be more ball playing CB of the two. I also remember that Ben White would also do a mix of carrying/line breaking as well.

We don’t really see our defenders attempting to break lines anymore.

i want more long ball from saliba and gabriel into final third especially against low block and mid block because they are have good enough accuracy with long ball

Yeah that's why I've commented on it - he used to be a bit riskier (braver) on the ball with his passing selection. I'm not sure why he's cut it out. If teams are just going to clog us in the middle we need one of Saliba or Big Gabby to bait the opposition out of their block. If you don't do this, getting the ball to one of Eze and Rice becomes really easy to cut out.

Gabriel has a beautiful clipped ball, that one to Trossard vs Palace the other week which almost lead to a tap in from Saka was great. Both Saliba and Gabriel should be encouraged to do this more often.

We need to embrace our identity and be even more extreme.
Nørgaard for Zubi, Havertz as a LW. Merino at right 8, the new young guy as a forward looks quite tall, so him instead of Gyokeres. Timber is a bit shorter so White comes in, Mosquera RW.
Only long balls allowed.

Arsenal Quotes

Ian Wright was the incredible striker for whom those around him sometimes found hard to control especially the opponents. He was an extrovert, hyperactive, and had endured an extremely hard life. His playing style was instinctive, and he had that killer instinct, a player like no other.
