It’s very difficult to be a winger in this sport when you have neither the pace nor the inclination to make runs at or behind defenders.

As a result he represents no threat whatsoever. A guy out for a jog who is easily closed off by defenders and ends up going backward more than forward because he can’t create time and space for himself.

He was still doing a job on the right at Chelsea in project restart, it was definitely worth a try and against Fulham it looked like we struck gold.

this. I though he would be our best winger at least for this whole season. We might still see him improve.

But if he cannot do it against Burnley (admittedly he was decent in the game) I don't hold out much hope for him to turn it around against better teams.
