Heads up that for matches that start very late in European time, the final score in Predictor may not be the accurate one when the match completes.

But rest assured that once the final result is entered into the fixture, the correct points will be distributed again, as per the score types: Exact, Close, Correct and Wrong.

More clarifications needed

Given that the final result sometimes cannot be entered by the time the match is finished on pitch, you may receive wrong alerts.

To illustrate:

As the second match between South Korea and Czech Republic was finished with final score of 2-1, if the score in Predictor is not manually updated yet, it stays as 0-0.
So the system believes that 0-0 is the final score, hence it fires off alerts like this.


I had predicted this match as 1-1, hence the system calculated that I hit a close score with 5 points.


However, given that the final score of this match was 2-1, once the actual final score was also entered into Predictor by @blaze_of_glory, then on the next round of points calculations (which runs every 30 minutes), the appropriate prediction points were redistibuted again, meaning that my wrong prediction of 1-1 only got 1 point.



This may happen again, as @Yousif Arsenal posted elsewhere, but once final score is entered, the points recalculation job will do its thing and the points will be appropriately distributed in
