Reminds me of the BS you'd hear back in the day comparing Litmanen to Bergkamp.

No one rated Litmanen until it was trendy to rate him because he was underrated, all of a sudden he was the hipster choice.

I've never heard such nonsense in my life.

I disagree. Bergkamp was a fantastic player, but at his best, Litmanen was simply unstoppable.
And about that hipster crap, I already rated Litmanen long before his Ajax days.

Dembele was a very good player who was very underrated at the time.

That's said no way was he better than Vieira, Fabregas, Modric, Özil, Rice, Petit, Gilberto, Ødegaard, Santi and Eriksen.

@Mitch good to see you of the booze man. Keep it up.

I just remembered that so many people here were saying Nketiah will score 15+ goals a season playing for a midtable team in the PL ...
In @Riou's view, Nketiah had a better season, despite firing blanks for Palace.

Literally the other way around...Henry could do everything except be deadly in the air.
The funny thing is that the 2 best strikers of the last 30 years and maybe of all time (certainly in my opinion but depending on how highly you rate Van Basten); R9 and Thierry were both pretty weak in the air and it didn't matter at all because you couldn't stop them from doing anything they wanted with the ball anywhere on the pitch.

Opened this thread, saw Mckola’s take on Saka and got angry all over again.

Watching Yanited in the mud now is beautiful for so many reasons, but the fact that he has to endure it, and his literal job is to speak about it, brings me no end of satisfaction.

His latest claim was “no chance do Sp**s beat us in a European final.” How’d that work out for them?. 15th in the damn league. That team is absolutely rubbed. I want us to put serious hands on them in the season opener.
