Easily Wilshere, TOTY and PL young player of the season in his first season. ****ed his ankle completely 2 seasons into his career.

Rosicky was another extremely talented but unfortunately injury prone player.

Anelka and Henry CF partnership would of been immense.

I wished we would of kept Gnabry.

Pennant had all the potential but was a unprofessional d*ckhead.

What if we kept Andy Cole? Would of loved to have him partner Wrighty in the early to mid 90s.

Diaby is the most overrated Arsenal player ever. Which takes some doing considering we have had the likes of Partey, Bellerin, Song, Giroud, Ramsey and Raya.

Many great shouts here but my biggest what if will always be if we signed Suarez that summer instead of Özil. We would have won it all

We signed Özil on 2013. We were linked with Suarez on 2014.

Perhaps you mixed it with Higuain who was rumoured to be on the move.

It was that time when Arsène played a great 4D chess on Sp**s

Cavani: Napoli to PSG (this then made space for) > Higuain: Real to Napoli (then this made space for) >
Bale: Sp**s to Real (and finally this made it possible for) Özil: Real to Arsenal

Nope. I remember it like yesterday because that was our biggest sliding doors moment last decade.

2014 Suarez moved to Barcelona already.

Really liked Aliadiere when he came through. MoM in that carling cup win at Anfield, although Baptista stole the headlines. Had a few good games paired with Bergkamp and Kanu as well, but not sure he had the potential to lead the line on his own.

Football died a bit when clubs moved away from the old 4-4-2

Still Pining for Wenger
I'll second Adebayor. He had all the tools to be a great striker. I'm not sure if his heart was ever really in football and who knows how the Togo bus attack affected him. Its crazy to think about how he went back to football after that like nothing happened.

Fabianski had the tools to be a top keeper imo but he was a nervous wreck on the pitch.

To this day I want to know the real story behind why Wenger dropped Arshavin for the FA cup semi-final. Wenger's kept up the BS story about how he wanted the team to know they could win without Arshavin but that's rubbish. Let them figure that out in a meaningless league game, not an FA cup semi-final.

Yes, @Clrnc was right.
You never know how it would work if Suarez came here, but he didn't strike as a player that would be devoted to us if Barca eventually came calling.

I've always had a few favourites, 1 of mine has always been a player that is back with us today with the youth, Per Mertesacker which to me shows me aswell that he really likes the club. One weakness of he's unfortunately was definately his speed & manouvre, on his good days he was very good but unfortunately to my liking he didn't have the most as I would have liked, however to some of you maybe he did.

If he was a little more manouvering & had a little more speed/fitness I reckon he could have been so much better on his day, he probably did enough due to his size & height though to make up for all that. I was very happy though when I heard & officially got announced coming back to the club. When former players do that, it shows me how much they appreciated & supported the club.
