Actually I changed my mind, would slip Metal Gear Solid in for PES 5. Spent way too many hours on that game as a 10 year old.

Is it me or are modern games a level below now? Maybe I've grown old...

I think getting older is part of it, because we've seen most of it already, at the same time, original ideas are getting fewer and farther between these days.

Big companies playing it too safe in my opinion, the amount of sequels in terms of the timespan they're released in is ridiculous.

Oh ****. This is tough. I've wasted way too much time playing vids over the years. But I think my favourites have mostly all come in the last two console generations. I actually think games are getting better and better, if you get the right ones anyway. But the problem is there are more **** games than ever as well.

1. Dark Souls
2. The Witcher 3
3. Mass Effect Trilogy (treating them as one experience)
5. Red Dead Redemption
6. Bloodborne
7. The Last of Us
8. Dark Souls 2
9. Donkey Kong Country
10. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

I've already prestiged twice on BO3, take out the horrible maps and it's pretty good.

Dragon Age: Origins is the beeeest, blew my mind when I actually got into it, hope the next sequel resembles it more than Inquisition did though I think it had a good story, it's just not the same.

I thought Dragon Age couldn't get worse after Dragon Age 2, but with Inquisition, they achieved that. I stopped playing after ten or so hours and never got back to it.

I'd consider playing and finishing Origins for a fifth time first, before ever starting Inquisition again.

Yeah I enjoyed Inquisition until about the halfway point, then it just became a slog to finish. I had zero interest in ever playing again and traded it in towards Witcher 3. And that game really showed how shallow Inquisition was, just put it to shame in every department.
