I don't think the thread should be locked, but this has been every Tieleman's update ever so far:

Interviewer: So, how is the Tieleman's situation?
Ornstein/Fabrizio: The club likes the player, Arteta likes the player, Tieleman's wants to go to Arsenal.
Interviewer: So, did anything concrete at all happen so far?
Ornstein/Fabrizio: **** no.

Still think there's a positive chance of him joining, but the whole situation of the deal seems nebulous as f.

Still think we have a very decent chance of getting him late in the window. As others have said we really need to move LT & AMN.
Leicester reported 35m asking is probably too high so if at the end on the window we can get for £25m & move out our 2 out for circa £20m it will be good business.

The real worry is nobody wanting to pay
for our players.

Seems pretty obvious that we are waiting for Leicester to drop the price.
Always happens for players in their last year of contract(only exception is the player being in high demand)

We have the same thing going with multiple of our players.

Honestly though, is anyone of his quality available at a similar price? He's better than a lot of our current midfielders, and if it gets us closer to the Champions League, we should be all over him like a fat kid to a cupcake if our budget needs to be spread to other positions as well.
