Arsenal may not be able to bring any more players in, but the transfer window still remains open for foreign sides to snatch stars of the north London club.

The past week has seen Joel Campbell and David Ospina move to Italy. The Costa Rica international has joined Frosinone on a permanent deal, while the latter will spend the season on loan at Napoli.

The transfer window in Europe doesn’t slam shut for another 10 days leaving plenty of time for more business to be made.

And according to according to reports in Turkey, Galatasaray have contacted the Gunners about signing Welbeck on what would be a permanent deal.

The England international who was part of Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad has struggled to deliver for the Gunners.

Welbeck arrived from Manchester United in 2014, but has scored just 15 league goals since.

A number of clubs who contacted Arsenal have been keen on a loan move for the striker. Although, Unai Emery’s side are not considering seeing as he is now into the final year of his contract.

Galatasary are interested in Welbeck. However, the report does claim that sources close to the England international have told the Super Lig outfit that the versatile forward is happy in north London and doesn’t want to relocate to Turkey at this stage.
