The feeling amongst Arsenal fans on our transfer business is indifferent.

Unai Emery’s arrival have seen five new faces follow him to the Emirates, but none have really got supporters overwhelmed with excitement.

The Gunners shipped out £70m this summer to bolster the defence that conceded an eye-watering 51 times in the league last season.

Shot-stopper Bernd Leno and defenders Sokratis Papastathopolous and Stephan Lichsteiner have been accompanied by midfielders Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira.

Time will tell as to who will perform in the red and white this forthcoming season.

Thankfully though Arsenal fans have been granted a perfect mock their bitter north London rivals even before a ball has been kicked.

Tottenham failed to bring one single player this summer and have become the first Premier League side to do so since transfer windows were implemented.

Jack Grealish was linked with a move a potential deal yesterday, but a deal failed to materialise.

And of course Gooners have not missed the opportunity to laugh at their neighbours…
