Arsene Wenger has 11 days to prepare his side for the season’s first North London derby.

The Gunners play host to Mauricio Pochettino’s high-flying Tottenham side. Despite Arsenal’s excellent home record against their rivals, it’s a game in which supporters are dreading.

Sunday’s 3-1 defeat to Manchester City marked Arsenal’s fourth loss of the season and has set them back 12 points adrift of the league leaders.

Meanwhile, Spurs are in great form, having won six on the spin, including a famous Champions League victory over Real Madrid.

It appears Arsenal fans have one wish ahead of the crunch tie at the Emirates – to see Jack Wilshere start.

The midfielder has been restricted to domestic cup and European competition so far, but his impresses performances as well as Arsenal’s inconsistent form, have led to calls for his recall to the Premier League side.

Arsene Wenger said the 25 year-old will get his chance this season. What better way to receive it than in a game that means so much to him and the supporters.

Gooners have taken to Twitter and are demanding Wilshere start in the NLD…
