Arsenal fans are ready to welcome back former Gunner Kieran Gibbs.
The Gunners go toe to toe with West Brom on Monday night. Arsenal are beginning to regain momentum after a poor start, but Tony Pulis’ side will as ever be a tough nut to crack.
Gibbs is expected to start against his former club. The 27 year-old who had a 13 year affiliation with the North Londoners departed for West Brom this summer for £7m.
Injuries and poor form meant the left-back failed to maintain a starting role in the Arsenal team. The Gunners elected not to offer Gibbs a new deal and sought to replace him with Sead Kolasinac.
Earlier this week boss Arsene Wenger said it will be strange to see the England international wearing a different shirt, but the club are proud of Gibbs’ time with them.
Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter and are looking forward to Gibbs’ homecoming…
Welcome bact to the Emirates stadium. #GIBBS.

Hope Gibbs is applauded on Monday night. Just for being a fullback with a decent haircut
