Mesut Ozil has finally resolved his future and committed to another three years with Arsenal.
The playmaker who had strong links with a switch to Manchester United will pocket a staggering £350,000-per-week as he becomes Arsenal’s highest played player in their history.
It’s a deal that has excited Arsenal fans following a dismal mid-week performance away to Swansea. Ozil completed the 90 minutes but was unable to stop the Gunners losing 3-1 in Wales.
But news of the German signing a new deal as well as the arrival of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has got Arsenal fans optimistic once more.
Ozil has been in fine form this season scoring four and assisting seven so far.
And Arsenal supporters wasted no time in mocking Man Utd fans who were under the impression the midfielder would be joining former teammate Alexis Sanchez at the ‘Theatre of Dreams’.
